Good healthy skin not only important for women. In order to achieve this it will start from knowing the skin types that you have. Basically skin care tips can be easier with suitable skin that you have. Selecting the right skincare products that suitable with your skin will be easier. It’s all start from understanding that how our skin look likes (physically right under the outer layer). What we see in the outer later come from the inside of our skin. Main Layer of Skin
Let’s talk about the skin layer in general (the main things that we need to know about the skin). I know most of us not interested for another biology class here.
Epidermis
Epidermis is the outer layer of the skin. This layer represent whatever we can see the color, the physical of the skin normal, dry, oily or combination. This is the layer that we’re trying to improve so our skin will look healthy. Anyway the entire cell in this layer came from the inner layer of the skin… ha ha ha... the beauty really come from within. So what can improve the skin health? Yes, the food that we take.
Dermis
Dermis is the inner layer of the skin. This layer contains many other important elements related to our skin function. Made mostly from collagen, elastin and fribillin that allows our skin to be flexible and strong. Here are the nerve endings, sweat gland, hair follicles, and blood vessels located to maintain body function correctly. In order to keep this area healthy the lifestyles really important especially by keeping our skin clean (to unclog the sweat gland), and good blood circulation by regular exercise.
Fat Layer
Below the dermis there is the fat layer. As we know that this fat layers various between every person. Fat layer is important for insulation of our body (to keep the heat) and as for the energy storage. If this fat’s layer getting thicker there can lead to many other problems. Just make sure that we taking care of our foods just as stated above.

Back to our main topic on how to understand more about skin types that we have, we are going to do a simple test. Use the facial tissue or paper that can absorb the oil from our face right after we wake up in the morning. The results are listed below.
1. Normal Skin
For the normal skin the tissue will leave no trace of oil in it. Usually normal skin will fell elastic and supple. It is the easiest type of skin to take care off with minimal cleaning and treatment process.
If you have skin type of skin just make sure to clean it to avoid clogging or damage by sunray. Use suitable skincare if necessary like UV blocker.
2. Dry Skin
Dry skin also not leaving any spot to the tissue but your face will feel flaky, dry, and tight after the wipe process. Dry skin can lead to wrinkles easily. With good care and treatment dry skin can turn into beautiful skin since you have small pores compare to the oily skin type.
Just make sure your cleanser will never dry your skin and use some moisturizer to allow your skin to glow again. UV blocker needed if expose to the sun.
3. Oily Skin
If you have an oily skin you can spot some oil marks on the tissue paper. All areas in your face like cheeks, nose, and forehead will give the same result. Oily skin usually will looks greasy, shiny and large pores sometimes visible. Give proper intention to your skin if you have an oily skin since it can leads to acne problems easily.
Use cleanser that not causing your skin becomes too dry - this will lead to more oil come out from your skin. The challenge is to unclog your pores and clean up all the excessive oil before it came out, gentle scrub can help to improve an oily skin problem. Some creams can be apply but you need to make sure it will not caused you skin to be more oily. Take care of your food intake. One thing that you need to be happy about an oily skin is it not prone much to aging and wrinkling.
4. Combination Skin
Combination skin will give different result for different part of the test. Usually you will see no spot of oil in the cheeks areas but only in the forehead and nose. Even for the oily skin usually this two areas will produce more oil than your cheeks.
Here you need combination care of normal skin and oily skin. Do unclog and scrubbing for an oily areas and normal cleansing for all areas. Apply mild moisturizer if necessary and take care of your food intake.

5. Sensitive Skin
Sensitive skin gives different result from very dry, feel tight, and becomes inflamed or sometimes irritated easily. Since the sensitive skins have various symptoms we need to be aware with the entire product that we used. Use only gentle products to avoid bigger problems. It is not so hard to take care of our skin in order to make sure it looks healthy glow. All we need to make sure are the cleansing process, the moisture (some cream if needed) and the necessary protection such as sunblock cream went expose to the sun.
